Since 1977, Nardini Specialty has kept stomachs full and mouths watering with our famous storemade Italian Sausages, and gourmet grocery items. Making Everyone Feel Welcome

With a newly expanded 5,500-square-foot location, the selection is better than ever. However, with over 40 years in business, the friendly, personal service continues to set Nardini apart from the rest.


Grocery manager Carlo Gambale recalls visiting the store as a child, when, “we could always count on a lollipop and a smile.” Today, as a member of Nardini’s dedicated staff, Carlo helps every customer feel at home with product samplings and freshly brewed Italian espresso that customers are able to try before they buy.

“From the kids to the parents, we try to make everyone feel very welcome,” says Carlo.



Stoney Creek is embracing Nardini’s new, centrally located store at 184 Highway 8, in the Gateshead Plaza. The sparkling new location is nearly double the size of Nardini’s original store, featuring all the old favourites as well as some great new additions!

Meat, Deli, Cheese & Grocery

In addition to a full meat counter, Nardini features a complete deli section, cheeses, olives, fresh Italian sausage and a newly expanded selection of Italian grocery items. The store’s hot table is especially popular for lunch, with Italian specialties like the veal parmigiana sandwich, sausage and porchetta. Nardini’s store-made porchetta is perfect for a family dinner or as the main course for your next party.


More and more customers are discovering the new and improved Nardini experience. “We’ve had an absolutely amazing response,” says Carlo. “We couldn’t thank the community more.”

Gift baskets are one of the fastest growing areas of the business today. Selections can be custom or ready-made in any price range. Especially popular at Christmas, Nardini’s newly expanded store has allowed the gift baskets to thrive on a year-round basis.

“We don’t compromise on the quality of our meat,” says co-owner Mario DeFelice. “Our sausage is pure pork, and that’s one of our biggest sellers.”

The store features attractive displays and a modern layout. Over the years, Nardini's has expanded its gluten-free products and Italian specialty items, including balsamic vinegars and award-winning estate extra virgin olive oils.


“The gluten-free is definitely an area that we expanded on,” says Carlo. Gluten-free products include pastas, sauces, cookies, snacks, breads and frozen items.

An Emphasis on Quality Food & Quality Service

Nardini Specialties is open six day a week for your shopping convenience. Along with great customer service, Nardini Specialties first opened in 1977, and has many longtime staff members who know their customers by name.


Mario DeFelice and his staff have continued the business since 1989. Mario still enjoys playing a hands-on role when it comes to serving customers.
